Free baseball clinic ?

?The Greater New York Sandlot Athletic Alliance is sponsoring the Lou DeMartino Memorial Christmas Baseball Clinic, a free clinic for sandlot players ages 10-19, on December 27 at John Jay College in Manhattan (899 10th Ave., at West 60th St.) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Major League instructors and scouts and collegiate coaches will be on hand supervising clinic stations covering hitting, pitching mechanics, bunting, corner play, rundowns and more. ?YMCA basketball program ?

?The Staten Island Broadway YMCA is offering the Jr. Knicks Program. Boys and girls ages 7-18 can participate in a 10-week league play basketball program starting on Jan. 26. Registration for Jr. Knicks is going on now and applications can be obtained at the Broadway YMCA, 651 Broadway in West Brighton or by calling 718-981-4933. Registration ends Jan. 7, but space is limited. The fee for the program is $35 for the entire 10 weeks and includes a T-shirt. Games are played on Saturdays starting at noon. Cadets Baseball Club

The Cadets Baseball Club will hold instructional clinics for five consecutive weeks in 2013. The clinic for grades 4-6 will start Feb. 2 from 9-11 a.m. The clinics for grades 7-9 will be Sundays starting Jan. 27 from noon-2 p.m. or 2-4 p.m. The cost is $149 or $129 if you pay before Dec. 31.
